Are you clothing optional?
Yes, we are clothing optional at the pool, patio area, and back tenting area.
Is there a minimum age limit to stay at Circle JJ Ranch?
Yes, 21 years old, a state photo ID is required.
Is Circle JJ Ranch for gay men only?
While we do cater primarily to gay men, our campground is LGBTQ-friendly.
Is Club JJ a night club?
Yes, Club JJ is our very own night club in the woods. We have a resident VJ on the weekends for your party needs. Our club matches or surpasses most gay bars in Ohio with a video screens, smoke machine, and a light show. Check out our Event Schedule for upcoming parties.
What time does Club JJ open/close?
It opens at 10:30pm and closes at 2:30am (Friday and Saturday).
Do you sell alcohol?
No, campers must provide their own alcohol.
Do you sell food?
No, but we have many fine local restaurants nearby. Check out the list in the office.
Are pets welcome?
Yes, we require that they be on a leash and you pick up after them.
Do you have a shower facility?
Yes. We have an outdoor shower-house by the koi pond and an indoor restroom/shower facility available in the lodge.
Do you have a dump station for RVs?
Yes, its available at no addtional charge.
Do you sell supplies?
Yes, propane, firewood and ice. There are also grocery stores in Scio and Carrollton.
Is the tenting area shaded?
Yes, it is located in a heavily wooded area.
Are there electric tenting sites?
Yes, the majority of our sites have electric, and picnic tables available for your use. There are also a few remote sites that are non-electric if you are looking for a true camping experience.
Do you rent rooms?
Yes, we have cabins and the bunkhouse available on a first come first served basis.
Are reservations required to stay?
We highly suggest you make a reservation (especially on Holiday weekends) as we get very busy and space is limited.
When should I arrive for my stay?
Check-in is after 1:00 pm and before 8:00 pm. If you need to arrive after 8:00 pm please call to make special arrangements.
Are most of your campers couples?
No. Although there are many couples staying with us, we are also home to plenty of single men.
Do you have any seasonal sites available?
Contact the office for additional information if you are looking to join us as a seasonal.
